How to Apply for Exodus Residency

  • Formerly incarcerated single mothers only

  • Custody of 3 children [or fewer] age 12 and under

  • Have experienced incarceration no more than 12 months from date of application

  • No violent offenses; no offenses against children; no sex offenses

  • We accept mothers with felonies and misdemeanors except those with homicide, sexual assault, or convictions involving injury to a child. No open CPS cases will be considered.

CORE EXODUS ELIGIBILITY

Housing

  • A secure transitional residence for single mothers and their children

  • Fully furnished single family apartment; all basic living needs provided

  • A 12-month residential program prioritizing emotional and spiritual development

Personal Development

  • Weekly classroom instruction including life skills/personal management training; -parenting skills; financial literacy

  • Professional case management

  • Individual Christian counseling weekly

  • Bible-based 12-step recovery programming

Children

  • Daily programming for children age 12 and under

  • Individual Christian counseling weekly (for school-age children)

  • Seasonal activities (day and summer camps; local field trips; group outings)

Our 12-month residential offering is a structured, professionally managed program designed to equip women to become responsible, productive, and self-sufficient.
